Brier Island is at the southwestern tip of Digby Neck, Nova Scotia, at the mouth of the Bay of Fundy where it meets the Bay of St. Mary and the Atlantic Ocean. Two very short ferries (5 minutes) are required, first from the mainland to Long Island and then to Brier Island itself. The ferries can be wonderfully inexpensive if you buy the booklet of 10 passages for $13.50. Otherwise, a single fare for each of the two ferries is $5.50 (return).
